Description:
Annual herb, sometimes persisting as an undershrub, 10-30 cm high; stems erect, branched; vestiture hirsute, glandular hairs present; leaves subconduplicate, oblanceolate, attenuate at the base, 0.8-2 cm long, 1-7 mm wide, entire or with 1-3 small teeth; apices obtuse.

Involucres c. 6 mm long; bracts narrowly elliptic, acute, ciliate at the apex; ray florets 2-seriate.

Achene 2.5-4 mm long, slightly flattened, 4-lobed in section, often asymmetric with 1 or more prominent pustules near the base, with appressed non-glandular hairs; marginal ridges and facial ribs lacking; pappus bristles multiseriate, barbellate, 5-7 mm long.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: NW.   W.Aust.; N.T.; Qld; N.S.W.

Conservation status: native
