Description:
Shrub to 50 cm high; stems erect, branched, terete, glabrous, woody; leaves very shortly petiolate to sessile, elliptic to obovate, acute, 1-3.4 cm long, 3-14 mm wide, dentate to entire, glabrous or with a few marginal hairs.
Fruit obovoid, 3-6 mm long, with 2 fertile cells and 2 minute sterile cells; mesocarp thin, dry; endocarp woody.
