Description:
Erect shrub, 1.5-3 m high, with a stout woody stem, densely leafy towards the ends of the branches; leaves congested, pinnate, 3-5 cm long, with 3-5 pairs of leaflets; leaflets narrow-linear, channelled above, 20-30 x 1-2 mm, strigose-pubescent on both surfaces; stipules lanceolate, c. 5 mm, almost free.
Flowers on short pedicels, in axillary clusters not exceeding the leaves at the ends of the branchlets; calyx c. 8 mm long, strigose-pubescent, teeth shorter or longer than the tube; standard c. 15 x 7-10 mm, whitish with clear blue in the upper part; wings white, shorter; keel shortest, with a dull blue tip.
Pod enclosed, ovate, c. 4 mm long, blackish, rough-textured; seed brown, shiny.
