Mentha xpiperita xcitrata

Citation: Briq. in Wildeman & Durand, Prod. Fl. Belg. 3:694 (1899).

Synonymy: M. citrata Ehrh., Beitr. Naturk. 7:150 (1792).

Common name: Lemon mint, Eau de Cologne mint.

Description:
Branches without hairs or rarely with short hairs almost papillae, usually decumbent or ascending, often branched; leaf blade ovate to broadly ovate, 1.5-4 x 1-3 cm, rarely more than twice as long as broad.

Inflorescence spike-like, rarely narrower than 15 mm when flowering and 1-3 times as long as broad; calyx lobes without marginal hairs or if present then few and teeth-like; anthers exserted.
