Description:
Glandular-pubescent annual, branches 10-50 cm; leaflets obovate to oblanceolate, 10-15 x 7-10 mm; stipules lanceolate, incise-dentate; peduncles l-5-flowered, longer than the petiole.
Flowers 3-4 mm long, on pedicels equalling in length the calyx tube; calyx longer than half of the flower, with simple hairs; teeth shorter than or as long as the tube; petals yellow; standard elliptic; wings shorter than the keel.
Pods discoid, 5-10 mm across, glabrescent, not spiny, turning clockwise in 2 or 3 turns; transverse veins scarcely anastomosing, becoming strongly thickened towards the strong marginal vein, forming an elevated dorsal suture, the rib-like protrusions join at right angles; seeds 3-4 mm long, yellow to light-brown, 1 per coil.
