Common name: Narrow-bell correa.
Description:
Erect sparse to dense shrub 1-2 x 1-2 m, with grey ferruginous branches; petiole 2-5 mm long; lamina narrowly elliptic to oblong, 1-3 x 0.5-1 cm, shiny or dull, grey-green, thin, glabrous to subglabrous.
Flowers solitary, pendulous, terminal on lateral branchlets; peduncles 2-5 mm long; calyx campanulate, 4-6 mm long; corolla 1-2.5 cm, pink or red with green tips; deciduous in fruit; stamen filaments broadened at the base; anthem prominent, exserted one-quarter to one-half of the corolla length, yellow.
Fruit 5-8 mm, white-green; seeds 3-4 x 1-2 mm, dull, a dark brown-black.

Hybrids recorded with C. reflexa as the other parent.
Taxonomic notes:
This taxon is confined to sands or loams of the mallee and appears to be an ecotype of C. glabra. It is likely to be reduced to varietal status under this species.
