Description:
Plant 7-30 cm high.
Flowers 1-3, pink rarely whitish; perianth-segments 10-15 mm long, 2-4 mm wide; dorsal sepal not incurved, 10-14 mm long; lateral sepals spreading; labellum 6-8 mm long, with 2 rows of yellow calli which are sometimes enlarged and in 4 rows at the base of the labellum, not extending beyond the bend, barred with dark-red; column 6-8 mm long, barred with dark-red like the labellum.

Occurring singly or in widespread groups or occasionally in clumps, in a wide variety of habitats from forest to heathland, littoral to rock outcrops inland, on limestone, sand, loams or clay. The most abundant variety.
Qld; N.S.W.; Vic.; Tas.. New Zealand, New Caledonia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
