Description:
Spreading annual; leaflets oblong- to obovate-cuneate, 1-2 cm long, emarginate or rarely entire, distinctly articulate at the base; petiole winged.
Sepals 5; petals 5, obovate, 3-4 mm long, usually slightly exceeding the sepals, yellow; stamens 10, filaments broad-winged in the lower half; wings truncate at the apex, with 0-3 irregular marginal teeth.
Capsule globular to slightly depressed-globular, 5-7 mm long, 5-angled, loculicidal, drooping; fruiting peduncle 3-5 mm long; seeds 1 or 2 in each cell, shining, blackish-brown.
