Description:
Annual herb 15-30 cm high; stems erect, branched; vestiture hispid to hirsute, with glandular and non-glandular hairs; leaves varying in size and shape on the one plant, subconduplicate, obovate with narrowed base to spathulate, 0.7-3.5 cm long, 1-10 mm wide, entire or with 1-4 small lateral lobes; apices obtuse, recurved.
Rnvolucres 10-14 mm long; bracts linear with attenuate ciliate apices; ray florets 2- or 3-seriate, white to mauve.
Achene flattened, oblanceolate, 8.5-10 mm long, narrowed into a neck 0.5-3 mm long at the summit; marginal ridges pubescent; faces with ribs converging below the summit, pubescent with glandular and non-glandular hairs; pappus bristles multiseriate, barbellate, 8-9 mm long.
