Common name: King fern.
Description:
Rhizome short, erect, to 30 cm tall (in S.Aust.); fronds to 2 m long, lanceolate, clustered at the top of the rhizome; pinnules serrate, fertile pinnules towards the base of the lamina on the lower half of the pinnae; sporangia borne in oval-oblong sori but frequently confluent and covering the surface of the pinnules.
