Description:
Shrub 0.5-1.2 m high; leaves narrowly elliptical-acute, plano-convex, c. 6 x 1 mm, sessile, margins entire.
Peduncles 2-3 mm long; hypanthium 10-ribbed, subcylindrical, 2-2.5 mm long; sepals and petals ovate, white, c. 1 mm long; stamens 5, opposite the sepals; gland on the anther connective very prominent; ovules 2; ovary small, near the summit of the tube.
