Common name: Grampians thryptomene.
Description:
Shrub, erect, spreading, to 2 m high; leaves elliptic, flat, 5-10 x 2-4 mm, sessile, margins entire.
Flowers 1-3 in the upper axils; peduncles to 2.5 mm long; hypanthium smooth, obconical, 2-4 mm long, usually deeply indented just above the ovary (see Ewart's illustration); ribs 5, faint; sepals broadly elliptic, petaloid, white at anthesis, pinkish in bud, c. 1.5 mm long; petals resembling the sepals, white; stamens 5, opposite the sepals; gland on the anther connective prominent; ovules 2; ovary small, near the summit of the tube.
