Common name: Thin duckweed.

Description:
Thallus 2-5 mm long, somewhat biconvex, elliptic to obovate, opaque; roots usually 2-8, to 4 cm long.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: MU, SL, SE.   All mainland States except the N.T.   Almost cosmopolitan.
