Common name: Jojo, bindyi.
Description:
Small annual; stems prostrate, spreading or absent, branched, sparsely villous; leaves basal and in clusters, with sheathing bases, pinnatisect to bipinnatisect, 1.5-3 cm long, sparsely villous.
Capitula solitary in the axil of each leaf of a cluster, c. 5 mm diam.; involucral bracts ovate, acute, entire, 2-3 mm long, villous.
Achenes elliptic, 3-4 mm long, pubescent; wings scarious, auriculate at the base and produced into 2 acuminate lobes at the apex; style persistent, erect, hardened, c. 3 mm long; disk florets few, c. 1 mm long.

Biology:
S. stolonifera (Brot.) Loudon has become established in the Murray Valley of N.S.W and Vic. (H. I. Aston (1983) Victorian Nat. 99:190-194), and may become naturalised in this State.
