Description:
Stems prostrate to ascending, tomentose with tangled simple hairs concealing the minute glandular ones; leaves linear, 0.2-1.5 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, mostly in fascicles.

Spikes dense; bracts linear; corolla simple-pubescent, lobes 3-5 mm long.

Distribution:  In scrub and heath near the coast.
