Description:
Prostrate perennial with glandular hairs; stems wiry, to 1.5 m long or more; leaves ovate, to 5.5 cm long and 3.5 cm wide, lamina partly red.
flowers in dense hemispherical heads c. 1 cm diam.; perianth pink.
Nut trigonous, c. 1.5 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, shining.
