Description:
Erect, 3-10 cm high, with slender stems and short linear leaves.
Panicle small, 1-3 cm long, loose, with capillary spreading branches; spikelets ovoid, coloured, shining, distant; glumes green and purplish, c. 1.5 mm long, a little shorter than the florets, the upper florets shortly stalked; lemmas truncate-denticulate, awnless.
