Description:
Perennial herb; stems 5-11 cm long, prostrate or ascending, pubescent; leaves narrowly elliptic, narrowing towards the base, 4-7 mm long, sometimes with a few scattered hairs on the upper and lower surfaces, ciliate.
Flowers solitary, axillary or terminal, pedicel 2-6 mm long, pubescent; flowering calyx 3-4 mm long, slightly larger in the fruit, divided to about the middle into 4 lobes, with scattered hairs, ciliate; corolla tube about as long as the calyx, glabrous, lobes about half the length of the tube, glabrous outside, pubescent inside; stamens inserted on the tube c. 1 mm above the base, included; ovary superior; styles free in the lower part, cohering above.
