Description:
Annual or perennial herbs, usually hairy; sepals dimorphic; petals long-clawed.
Stamens 6, spreading; median glands absent; stigma sessile, bilobed.
Fruit a siliqua, dehiscent; valves with a mid-vein, hairy; seeds in 1 row per locule; radicle accumbent.
