Description:
Terrestrial ferns with an erect slow- or long-creeping scaly rhizome; fronds decompound, lowermost pinnae markedly basiscopic; veins free, costae raised; rhachis with 2 prominent ridges; sori rounded, terminal on small veins, indusiate or rarely exindusiate; indusium reniform to orbicular.
