Description:
Glabrous aromatic shrub; leaves alternate, sessile, linear.
Capitula terminal, solitary, pedunculate, radiate, heterogamous; involucral bracts lanceolate, herbaceous, imbricate in 3 series, becoming reflexed; receptacle naked, pitted, convex; ray florets female, some sterile, multisetlate, yellow; style branches glabrous, those of the sterile florets connate.
Ray achenes oblong, some abortive, with a pappus of barbellate bristles often partly connate; disk doters bisexual, fertile, yellow; anthers obtuse at the base, with acute apical appendages; style branches subulate, papillose; disk achenes flattened, elliptic, with a pappus of unequal barbellate bristles partly or wholly connate.
