Description:
Annual herb to 25 cm high; stems branched, erect to ascending, hardly woody, glandular, pilose to villous; leaves oblanceolate to spathulate, 3-7 cm long, 1-2.5 cm wide, bi- or tripinnatisect, glandular, pilose to villous; bases petiole-like, c. 1 mm wide.
Peduncles axillary or terminating short lateral branches, 2-11 cm long, densely glandular; involucral bracts glandular, to 11 mm long; receptacle 4-8 mm diam.; ligules oblong, 1-2 mm long, white.
Ray achenes narrow-obovate, c. 2 mm long, with a beak 2.5-5 mm long, sparsely sericeous; pappus bristles multiseriate, unequal, 6-9 mm long; disk florets fertile; achenes like the ray achenes.
