Howittia trilocularis

Description:
An erect shrub usually 1.5-2.5 m high, ferruginous-tomentose on the rather slender branches; leaves entire or crenate, ovate-lanceolate, obtuse or cordate at the base, more or less acute; ferruginous-tomentose below especially on the conspicuous veins, green above, the blades 25-90 x 10-35 mm, on petioles 5-15 mm long.
Flowers 1-3 in each axil, to 2 cm diam.; calyx c. 7 mm long; petals violet, more than twice the length of the calyx.
Capsule partly enclosed by the calyx.
