Description:
Erect to procumbent perennial 2.5-20 cm high, with sessile glands with small shiny globular heads; branches in larger plants creeping and rooting proximally, glabrous below, elsewhere densely ?glandular-puberulent, sometimes with scattered flat eglandular hairs; leaves narrow-elliptic to narrow-ovate-elliptic, 0.7-2.6 x 0.2-0.9 cm, sessile, narrow-cuneate to stem-clasping, serrulate, acute, with indumentum like the branches.

Flowers solitary in upper axils, sometimes one at a node, on pedicels 1-2.5 mm long; indumentum on pedicels, bracteoles and sepals like the upper branches; bracteoles narrow-ovate, about three-quarters the length of the sepals; sepals narrow-ovate to linear, 3.5-6 mm long; corolla c. 10-12 mm long, pale- pink to purple, with a yellow tube and a pale inner face of the limb, hirsute inside on the upper side; staminodes 2 near the base of the corolla tube, filiform, c. 0.05 mm long.

Capsule broad-ovoid, 3.5-4.5 mm long, topped by the deciduous style c. 2 mm long; seeds 0.6-0.8 mm long, with prominent fine longitudinal ridges and lower cross-walls, brown rarely yellowish throughout.
