Description:
Dense shrub or small tree 1-6 m high; branches rather slender but stiff, acutely 3-angular, striate, slightly hairy and grey-green at first; leaves soon caducous, linear-subulate, 1-3 mm long.
Flowers in short dense sessile clusters or spikes 1-3.5 mm long; rhachis pubescent; perianth 3-6-sect, yellow-green, c. 1 mm long, glabrous or minutely papillose on the margins.
Fruit globular to oblong, glabrous or almost so, 2-5 mm diam., broader than the fruit when fresh, glossy, white or green to pink or purple.
