Description:
Sparsely pubescent perennial herb 15-40 cm high; stems much-branched, procumbent to ascending, woody at the base; basal rosette absent at flowering; lower leaves elliptic to curieate, usually 3-toothed, shortly petiolate, 1-3.5 cm long, 3-12 mm wide, often tufted on short lateral shoots; upper leaves narrow-elliptic, entire, sessile, to 2 cm long.

Peduncles 2-7 cm long, filiform, with 1-3 minute leaves; capitula solitary, c. 1.5 cm diam.; receptacle 2-3 mm diam.; involucral bracts linear-lanceolate, 2-4 mm long, pubescent; ligules 3-5 mm long, white, purplish below, turning pink with age.

Achenes oblong, c. 1 mm long, brown; pappus bristles numerous, 2-seriate, c. 1.5 mm long.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: NL, SL, SE.   W.Aust.; N.S.W.; Vic.; Tas.   Native to Mexico. Conservation status: naturalised Flowering time: Oct. — Feb.
