Description:
Stems slender, branched and flexuose.
Sheathing bracts and floral bracts with short subulate spreading blades and woolly at the orifice; male spikelets sessile, distant along the wavy branches, c. 4 mm long, with 2 linear floral bracts not exceeding the spikelets at the base, glumes narrow, not imbricate; flowers 2 or 3 in each spikelet, perianth-segments 6, hyaline, flat, c. 3 mm long, the anthers exserted; female spikelets few, narrow, distant, sessile, 4-6 mm long, 1-flowered, the perianth-segments 4-6, hyaline.
Nut almost globular, c. 1.5 mm long.
