Description:
Perennial to 1.2 m high; corm 3-4 cm diam.; leaves numerous, arching, 40-80 cm long, 4-9 mm wide, glabrous, with numerous fine parallel veins.
Scape terete, arching to 1.5 m long; spikes 2-5-flowered; spathe bracts acuminate, 2-2.5 cm long, pale, becoming torn; flowers pink, bell-shaped; perianth tube c. l cm long; lobes ohovale, 2-2.6cm long: anthers 8-10 mm long, dark; style branches slightly exceeding the anthers, 4-5 mm long.
