Description:
Stems tomentose; leaves oblong to ovate-elliptic, slightly papillate; corolla tomentose with loose woolly pale-grey to whitish hairs.

Distribution:  On cliffs near the coast.

Taxonomic notes: Dampiera lanceolata Cunn. ex DC. var. intermedia Rajput & Carolin, var. nov. Caules tomentosi. Folia oblongo-ovata, vel elliptica. Corolla pills canescentibus lanatis. Holotype: Aldinga Bay, southern Mt Lofty Ranges, S.Aust., J.B. Cleland s.n., 2.xii. 1923 (AD 966032659).
