Common name: Slender cotula.
Description:
Annual to 20 cm high; stem erect to ascending, sparsely branched, glabrous or glabrescent; leaves narrowly linear, sheathing at the base, entire, 1-4 cm long, glabrous.
Peduncles erect, filiform, 2-6 cm long, sparsely pubescent; capitula heterogamous or homogamous, 3-5 mm diam.; involucral bracts 5-8, suborbicular, glabrous; receptacle flat; female florets uniseriate or absent, pedicellate, without corollas.
Achenes flat, oblong; c. 1.5 mm long, glabrous, with a broad scarious wing; inner florets numerous, fertile, subsessile; corollas c. 1 mm long, yellow; achenes plano-convex, narrowly oblong, c. 1.5 mm long, smooth, wingless.
