Description:
Annual to 20 cm high; stems erect, branched, glabrous; leaves oblanceolate to lanceolate, subamplexicaul at the base, pinnatisect with acute finely pinnatifid segments, 1-4 cm long, glabrous or subglabrous.
Peduncles erect, 0.5-2 cm long, much shorter than the leaves; capitula heterogamous, 6-8 mm diam.; involucral bracts numerous, oblong, 2-3 mm long, glabrous; receptacle convex; female florets uniseriate, few, pedicellate, with short filiform corollas.
Achenes flat, oblong, c. 1.5 mm long, glandular, with a narrow scarious wing; inner florets numerous, fertile, shortly pedicellate; corolla short, yellow, becoming paler after opening; achenes plano-convex, narrowly oblong, c. 1 mm long, smooth, with narrow marginal ridges.
