Common name: Hoary cress, hoary pepperwort, white weed.
Description:
Herb, procumbent to erect, 15-90 cm tall, hoary-pubescent; basal leaves cuneate, petiolate; cauline leaves obovate to ovate-oblong, sinuate-dentate, sessile, stem-clasping.
Sepals 1.5-2 mm long; petals 3-4 mm long, white.
Silicula cordate, inflated, 3-4.5 mm long, 3.5-5 mm wide, not notched; valves constricted basally to a narrow septum; indehiscent, splitting into 1- or 2- seeded articles; seeds ovoid, c. 2 mm long, mucous.
