Citation: Hewson, Fl. Aust. 8:390 (1982).

Synonymy: C. heterophylla Hook., Compan. Bot. Mag. 1:273 (1836), non Host (1797); C. hirsuta L. var. heterophylla (Hook.)Hook. f., Fl. Tasm. 1:20 (1855); C. debilis sensu J.H. Willis, Hdbk Pl. Vic. 1:181 (1973).

Description:
Perennial herb, with scape to 25 cm long, rhizomatous, glabrous, rarely hairy; leaves rosulate, variable, spathulate, entire or dentate; pinnatisect or pinnate with 1-several pairs of pinnae.

Sepals 2-2.5 mm long, purple with white margins; petals 4-6 mm long, white; stamens 6; siliqua linear, 15-30 mm long, 0.7-1 mm wide, erect, often overtopping the inflorescence; style less than 1 mm long, obtuse.

Pedicels in fruit erect to spreading, 5-17 mm long; seeds ovoid or oblong, compressed, slightly winged, 1-1.5 mm long.
