Common name: Mallee cypress-pine, scrub cypress-pine, mallee pine.
Description:
Shrub or small tree, single or multi-stemmed, to 5 m high; leaves lime- or dark-green, abaxial surface rounded. Peduncle 0.2-1 cm wide, 0.1-1.6 cm long.
Cones single or in groups of 2 or more, subglobose, 1.2-3 cm wide, 1.1-2.9 cm long, dorsal surface rugose, densely tuberculate; dorsal point inconspicuous; columella simple.

Found in mallee open scrub; favours deep soils, particularly sand dunes.

Biology:
