Description:
Erect glabrous perennial, to 40 cm high; tuber irregularly elongate or swollen; leaves ovate, deeply hastate to subobtuse at the base, green, the blade usually 4-10 cm long, the petiole 10-30 cm long and purple-marked.
Spathe 3-5 cm long, erect below but strongly arched above, pale-green marked with red below, usually becoming reddish above; spadix appendage green.
Fruit green.
