Taxonomic notes: C. bicuspidata Benth. is a synonym of C. trichodon Miq. The type specimen of C. bicuspidata is labelled as being collected on Flinders Island, S. Aust., by Robert Brown, but there must have been some confusion in the labelling as this species is confined to the southern coast of W.Aust., visited by Brown on the same expedition.
