Description:
Shrub or small tree 1-5 m tall; branches non-tuberculate or rarely with a few tubercles, tomentose, the hairs appressed, grey or yellowish; leaves opposite, linear, 30-120 x 1-3 mm, apex uncinate, terete, flat or channelled above, entire, hoary but sometimes glabrescent.

Flowers 1-4 per axil; pedicel 3-10.5 mm long, curved, indumentum as for leaves; sepals separate to the base, cream to pink, spathulate to oblanceolate, 4.5-18 x 2.2-4.8 mm, obtuse or broadly acute, outside surface sparsely to densely eglandular-pubescent, the hairs appressed, inside surface sparsely pubescent, many of the hairs glandular; corolla 15-30 mm, cream tinged pink above, unspotted, outside surface glabrous but margins ciliate, inside of tube hirsute but the hairs often extending to the lower parts of the lobes, lobes obtuse; stamens shortly exserted, filaments hirsute except in the distal third, anthers glabrous; ovary pubescent, the hairs appressed, style glabrous or hirsute.

Fruit dry, oblong-cylindrical, 4.5-7 x 2-3 mm, densely pubescent.
